Transition

I love this Fall to Winter transition that we’re experiencing here in San Francisco.  The random 80 degree days are gone and in comes the brisk air, occasional fog and wind.  Of course days lately for me are spent buried in knitted projects and being meowed at ‘PET ME!’ by the newest addition, Marty— housemate Sarah’s loveable orange feline.  Also on my mind, other warm fuzzy things like mini mitts for Kade and a wrap I’m hoping to finish in time to bring with us  as a gift. We’re headed East this winter to New England where Fayvor’s family is from.  Where also will be three nephews. Hearing what they have to say and watching them is right up there with picking apples on my ‘best things ever!’ list.  Fayvor and I miscarried our first in September so it is especially special to be able to spend time with them.  We still hope for one of our own one day soon.
