Oh Japan!

I feel it only appropriate to give a moment of observance to acknowledge everything that’s been happening in Japan with the earthquake and the tsunami. My heart feels all achey just thinking about what the people who died must have felt those last few moments and also of their families/friends and how they are doing.
Its been a bit of an emotional week: Figuring out if all my Japanese side of the family is ok; Saying good bye (for now) to a bridesmaid as she traveled back to Japan to be hospitalized with Leukemia for the 4th time and seeing if the other bridesmaid(male) landed in Japan ok the day of the earthquake.
I’m breathing a sigh of relief today as we’ve accounted for everyone in my immediate circle but continue to pray that everyone there is able to find the help and peace that they need.
